Jimmy Jims Deli

"James is the academic director at the Sag Harbor Fine Arts Center, but he grew up in a family that knows food.  His grandmother had a deli on Route 110 when it was a dirt road. “Nothing was frozen, no pre-made deli salads were being delivered in painters’ buckets.” Jimmy Jims makes at least three soups daily. The traditional deli salads are all James’ grandmother’s recipes (the macaroni salad with pico de gallo and cilantro is the exception.) Meats for the daily specials are roasted in-house. Hortencia Trejo Lopez makes empanadas, tamales, tacos, burritos and tortas that have people in the know coming back for more."
